Le Jockey is performing at The Priory in Cambridge this Thursday night. Expect something different and exciting. Check out the event details here
The ‘Wonky K Band’ is in full effect and putting the finishing touches to thursdays live show at The Priory. Will be something a little different with lots of bounce and drop to it. Will try and get a recording done of it to post up on here :)
Was nice to see the K band plastered all over the Fez.

I thought I would update a bit as to what is going on production wise at the moment. I have just finished a remix of ‘Carnival’ by Midnight Audio which is going to come out on Fullbarr Digital at some point over the next few months I guess. I am also about to start on a remix with Jim Masters of ‘Space Bass’ by DJ Onionz on Endemic. I am really excited about this remix as Onionz has long been a producer I have admired. Plus the track we are remixing features on Carl Cox’s new Global Underround CD so will have a lot of press behind it.
Production wise, I have a track on a various artists EP on Multi Vitamins out on January 11th and a new EP on Fullbarr Digital in February sometime. I am still waiting to hear from Luke Solomon as to the release date of Wronk, but know that The Freaks remix is finished. I have three tracks out on Beiak at some point soon as well, and another EP for Alt Recordings all finished and awaiting release.
Apart from that I am keeping busy writing lots. I plan to release my album at some point soon. It has been delayed because I keep writing new material which I want to appear on the album. However it is very nearly finished now and will be a continuous hour long mix of tracks.
I have also been busy producing some tracks with Leo. we are going to write an album, available for free I think, called ‘Leo and Jockeys Haribo Star Mix’, the concept behind the album being each track is in a different style. We have got 4 or 5 tracks down now and I am really pleased with the results so far. Some weird and wonderful music.
Feel free to check out my soundcloud which has lots of my tracks up on, some available to download, others to stream. Hope you enjoy the listen :)

As featured in November 2009’s issue of International DJ mag, the lovely clubs editor and reviewer Oli gave The late night EP the once over….
“Fast-rising hotshot Le Jockey steps up to fullbarr for this killer package. The vibe is definitley spannered techno, with tripped out samples aplenty over rock solid rhythm. ‘Estrella Blue’ is the work of a madman, while Mark Broom drops peak-time lean-ass funk to get booties a wiggling” 9/10 - IDJ Magazine
